Robert Williams isn't doing a great job to quell concerns that other teams had about him at the NBA Draft. Not long after sleeping through the expected time of his introductory conference call, the Celtics' first-round pick missed a flight to Boston - and, in turn, his first summer league practice.

The C's informed reporters of Williams' missed flight and absence from practice on Sunday. According to The Athletic's Jay King, the team will handle the matter internally.

Williams was present for his introductory press conference last Friday. He spoke about his time meeting Al Horford, who told the rookie about how hard they're going to work in Boston.

"Definitely I plan on looking at the vets from Day 1," said Williams. "Horford has had a great career. He eats right, works out right, he does everything he could do on a day-to-day situation. So, I feel like following his every footstep will just give me the keys to success to being in this league."

The missed conference calls and flights may not mean that Williams isn't ready to work hard, but he certainly appears to have room for improvement in terms of his punctuality. It may take time for Williams to grow and learn how to be a true professional. There's no doubting his athleticism and abilities as a player, particularly as a defender.

For now, he can start with making his dang flights and getting to practice. In that regard, He's certainly not off to the smoothest start.
