The Red Sox belted two more home runs and Rick Porcello picked up his seventh win of the young season as Boston beat the Toronto Blue Jays for the second straight game, by the same 8-3 score, at Fenway Park on Tuesday.
Porcello battled through 6.2 innings and allowed three runs (two earned), striking out five in the win to move to 7-2 on the season. His ERA so far sits at a solid 3.65.
Xander Bogaerts broke out of a 2-for-11 mini-slump with his eighth home run of the season, a rocket over the Green Mosnter seats and out of the park. He's batting just .213 in May, but has gone deep five times.
