Bill Russell's Friday ended with the NBA legend rushed to a hospital, according to TMZ.

Law enforcement sources told TMZ that an ambulance was called to Russell's Seattle-area home Friday night, and with the 84-year-old Celtics legend was rushed to a nearby hospital with an apparent heart issue.

Russell took to Twitter on Saturday to let everybody know that he was on his way home. And Russell even cracked a joke about his lack of a heart, insinuating that he was instead suffering from dehydration.

Russell was hospitalized in 2014 when he collapsed during a speech.

One of the greatest figures in sports history, Russell won a staggering 11 NBA titles (with two of them coming as a player-coach) during his 13-year career with the Celtics , and also took home the league's MVP Award on five separate occasions.
