Benintendi Homers, Porcello Gets Sixth Win As Red Sox Beat Orioles 6-3
Andrew Benintendi hit his fifth home run and Rick Porcello picked up his sixth win of the season as the Boston Red Sox beat the Baltimore Orioles 6-3 at Fenway Park on Saturday.
Benintendi homered in the fifth inning off O’s starter Dylan Bundy, finishing 2-for-3 with three RBIs on the night. He’s homered twice in his last five games and is batting .319 with three longballs and 12 RBIs in 17 May games.
Porcello pitched six solid innings to move to 6-1 on the season, allowing three runs on six hits and three walks and striking out nine.
