Orioles Tag Pomeranz For Five Runs, Beat Red Sox 7-4
The Baltimore Orioles scored five runs (four earned) off Drew Pomeranz as they beat the Red Sox 7-4 on Friday night at Fenway Park.
Pomeranz labored through just four innings as he fell to 1-2 on the season. He allowed seven hits and walked three against just two strikeouts.
Mookie Betts was one of the lone bright spots for the Red Sox on Friday, blasting his 14th home run of the season. He raised his batting average to .371 after the 3-for-5 night.
