Boston Celtics head coach Brad Stevens was WIRED and mic’d up during the C’s dominating Game 1 win in the Eastern Conference Finals opener on Sunday afternoon against the Cleveland Cavaliers and it was something special.
Prior to tip-off, Stevens is seen and heard in the locker room giving the Celtics a pregame prep talk about how to attack the Cavaliers and what they should be doing against LeBron James and company.
He makes it a point to emphasis the importance of making the Cavs have to guard them, while looking for those open shots.

#AdvantageCeltics: East Finals Preview By The Numbers
Since the Celtics are playing the Cavaliers again in the East Finals, lets revisit Stevens’ conversation with James during the 2017 NBA All-Star Game practice.
The respect shown between these two is just the tip of the iceberg. James has praised Stevens on multiple occasions and Stevens doesn’t shy away from talking highly of James.
It’s fair to say that at this point there’s certainly a level of mutual respect amongst these two NBA stars.
