Bogaerts Hits Another Grand Slam, Red Sox Beat Royals 10-6

Xander Bogaerts blasted his second grand slam home run of the season as the Boston Red Sox out-slugged the Kansas City Royals 10-6 at Fenway Park on Monday.

Bogaerts went 3-for-5 on the night, raising his batting average to .412 so far in the young season. The Red Sox compiled a healthy 13 hits as a team.

Mitch Moreland also homered for the Red Sox, smacking his third longball of the season as he went 3-for-4 with two RBIs.

Up Next: The Red Sox (21-7) take on the floundering Royals (7-21) again on Tuesday, with Chris Sale (2-1, 2.31 ERA) taking on Jakob Junis (3-2, 3.34 ERA).
