New England Patriots

The New England Patriots drafted Miami slot receiver Braxton Berrios with the 210th pick in the 2018 NFL Draft on Saturday.

Berrios is coming off a senior season in which he caught 55 passes for 679 yards and nine touchdowns. He also returned 13 punts for 207 yards for the Hurricanes.

NFL.com describes Berrios as an attractive prospect for “teams looking for a slot receiver who can work the middle of the field and attack with intermediate routes.” His NFL comparison? Danny Amendola.

Clearly, Berrios has a chance to be a perfect fit in the current Patriots’ offense. It comes down to whether he can grasp the system and develop a rapport with Tom Brady.
