Boston Red Sox

The Red Sox looked close to done on Sunday afternoon, but refused to give up. And their resilience was rewarded in the eighth inning with a six-run rally that transformed a disappointing loss into a thrilling win.

Boston plated six runs in the bottom of the eighth, when the Red Sox started it off down 7-2. But six straight hits, all with two outs, scratched the Red Sox into their only lead of the game.

Craig Kimbrel completed the stunning turnaround with his third save of the season.
