Tom Brady warmed up prior to Patriots-Jaguars in the AFC Championship with a black bandage on the back of his right hand. And in making dozens of throws, he looked like the same old Tom Brady.
Brady reportedly suffered a deep cut during Wednesday’s Patriots practice in a collision while handing off to running back Rex Burkhead. Though the team listed him as “Questionable” on the final injury report, it’s no surprise that he’s active and ready to start on Sunday.
Brady took snaps from both under center and in the shotgun while making handoffs to the running backs and throws to Brandin Cooks and others. By all accounts, it looked and felt like a normal warmup for the quarterback.

First throw in warmups is out of 21 personnel. Expecting that to be an important part of the plan. We'll see once the snaps actually mean something.

Brady took a snap from under center. He’s also throwing a nice spiral. Does not look affected. Had a brief conversation with Belichick that included a lot of head nods pic.twitter.com/GzTzZ64kOD

Burkhead is also active for Sunday’s AFC Championship Game. He will return to the lineup after missing the last three games with a knee injury.
